This year’s TCAF promises to be a blast for comic fans. The annual event, hosted by The Beguiling (Canada’s finest purveyor of comics) will be held on Saturday May 9th, and Sunday May 10th at the
Toronto Reference Library, in the heart of downtown Toronto. Program highlights include international premieres of long-anticipated works by both Canadian cartoonists, and graphic novelists from around the world, and much more. The festival, which is FREE, features over 15,ooo square feet of attractions, and more than 200 cartoonists ( I myself am proud to attend as a guest!)…. that’s a lot of comics!

The SIX CHIX has a new blog and website. If you don’t already know, the SIX CHIX
is a daily newspaper panel shared by six women cartoonists, each having our own day of the
week, alternating on Sundays. As the Wednesday “Chix”, I am proud to
be part of such a wonderful group of funny women. I encourage you to check out our
musings, sketches, and — of course — cartoons. SIX CHIX is now in its 9th year –
