New Six Chix Website & Blog

The SIX CHIX has a new blog and website. If you don’t already know, the SIX CHIX
is a daily newspaper panel shared by six women cartoonists, each having our own day of the
week, alternating on Sundays. As the Wednesday “Chix”, I am proud to
be part of such a wonderful group of funny women. I encourage you to check out our
musings, sketches, and — of course — cartoons. SIX CHIX is now in its 9th year –
we hope you’ll drop in now and then to get to know the people behind those wacky drawings.

Thanks!

Exhibition Announcement “The Language of Lines: How Cartoonists communicate”

I am thrilled to be part of the latest exhibition at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa California.

The show, curated by Brian Walker (”Beetle Bailey”, and “Hi and Lois” ) takes a close look at the visual iconography
of cartoon art, and how graphic devices are used to represent abstract ideas to the reader.

Running from February 2nd to August 11th, the exhibition examines the use of visual shorthand in comic strips past and present,
including “Peanuts”, “Beetle Bailey”, “Pogo”, “Mutts”, “Pearls Before Swine”, “Tina’s Groove”, and more…

So if you’re in Santa Rosa and would like to check it out please visit the museum website at www.SchulzMuseum.org
